Titanium Grade 2 Tubing from Irfan Pipes and Tubes is made from commercially pure titanium (UNS R50400), which contains about 99.2% titanium along with trace amounts of iron (≤0.3%), oxygen (≤0.25%), nitrogen (≤0.03%), carbon (≤0.08%), and hydrogen (≤0.015%). This alloy is known for its excellent corrosion resistance and moderate strength. Typical mechanical properties include a tensile strength of around 345 MPa, yield strength of about 275 MPa, and an elongation of 20% or more. Grade 2 titanium also offers remarkable ductility, weldability, and toughness, making it perfect for applications where a strong yet lightweight material and corrosion resistance are essential.
