Stainless Steel 316Ti Heat Exchanger Tubing is an austenitic stainless steel alloy with 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and about 0.5% titanium. Titanium stabilizes the alloy, avoiding sensitization and retaining corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Mechanically, it has tensile strength of about 515 MPa, good toughness, and formability. Its resistance to chloride pitting at high levels, coupled with thermal stress durability, makes 316Ti tubing well suited for long service in heat exchangers and high-temperature applications, maintaining structural integrity and prolonging equipment life.
