The alloy provides a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and a good ductility with retention of toughness in hot environments. The high nickel and chromium content gives excellent resistance to carburizing, sulfidation, and oxidation atmospheres, making it ideal for long-term exposure to high-temperature operations.
