Duplex Steel Welded Pipes are crafted from duplex stainless steels such as UNS S32205 or S31803, featuring a blend of approximately 22% Chromium, 5–6.5% Nickel, 3% Molybdenum, and 0.14–0.20% Nitrogen. This well-balanced austenitic-ferritic structure ensures high strength and improved resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. These pipes typically showcase a yield strength of around 450 MPa and a tensile strength ranging from 620 to 880 MPa—almost double that of standard austenitic stainless steel. Additionally, duplex welded pipes offer good weldability, formability, and fatigue resistance, making them a strong and cost-effective option for demanding structural and fluid-handling applications.
