Duplex Steel Pipes 2205 are primarily made up of 22% chromium, 5% nickel, and 3% molybdenum, along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and nitrogen, which together create a well-balanced austenitic-ferritic microstructure. This unique composition offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. On the mechanical side, these pipes boast high tensile strength, with yield strength ranging from 450 to 550 MPa and ultimate tensile strength between 620 and 720 MPa. They also provide good elongation of 25 to 35%, along with impact toughness and hardness that are well-suited for demanding applications.
